HOWE 8286 Racing Hydraulic Throw Out Release bearing- concentric slave cylinder for Multi plate reduced Diamter clutches 7-1/4" and 5.5"
++PLEASE READ INFO CAREFULLY++ This is a universal cylinder that can be used instead of a fork and standard release bearing setup for Twin or Multi plate clutches.
Newly designed at only 1.4 lbs. this Howe hydraulic throw out bearing is the lightest available.
Compatible with most reduced diameter racing clutches including QuarterMaster and Tilton.
The unit installs by simply replacing the bearing retainer bolt in the two o-clock position with the provided stud.
The optional remote bleeder kit (8289) allows for easy bleeding of the system outside of the bell housing.
This throw out bearing known to fit Saginaw 3-speed, Muncie 4-speed, T-10 and Jerico 2 & 4-speed transmissions.
It will not fit T-5 transmissions and will not work with a stock clutch or Ram coupler.
Fully extended it is 2.715” thick extended providing .404” throw.
The bore of this CSC is designed to work with American transmissions such as Saginaw, T-10, Muncie and Jerico 1.379"/35mm but can be used on Japanese Gearboxes which they are commonly used for W Series, Nissan RB20/ 25 etc .
It's recommend that you run a 3/4" master cylinder but some applications work with 5/8
